Research Grants

The Mendez National Institute of Transplantation Foundation (MNITF) is a public nonprofit organization that adheres to its mission of advancing the science and practice of organ transplantation and end-stage organ disease therapies through research, education, and innovation. Building upon the vision and legacy of our founders, Doctors Robert and Rafael Mendez, the MNITF awards grants semiannually to researchers through our Research Grant Program (RGP), in order to improve clinical outcomes and positively impact the field of transplantation.
